2024-25 NEW Bible Class & Teacher:
Mark Hammer will be teaching our new 10-11th grade Bible class "Understanding the Faith". Mark's enthusiasm for God, the Bible, community, and life is vibrant and contagious! We are so excited to welcome him to the Valor team!
Bio: Mark was raised in the Portland, Oregon area during his formative years. In 2002, after graduating High School he leaned into the calling of full time ministry that God had placed on his life. This took him to Joplin, Missouri to study Biblical Literature with emphasis in youth ministry and preaching at Ozark Christian College. In 2006 he graduated, married his high school sweetheart, Lindsey, and entered into full time youth ministry back in Oregon, until God called him and his family to Sandpoint Idaho in the spring of 2014 to join the pastoral staff at North Summit Church where he has served ever since. Mark enjoys all outdoor activities, including hunting and fishing. He also loves studying the Bible, having theological conversations, and has a love, hate relationship with working out. Most of all, he really loves being with his family.
