Cassidy was born and raised in Nebraska, where she graduated with her degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Cassidy and her husband Isaac moved to Sandpoint several years ago to pursue their dream of building a homestead in the beautiful mountains of North Idaho.
In between high school and college Cassidy took a gap year, where she worked with Youth with a Mission in Mazatlán, Mexico. During this time, she fell in love with God’s gift of language, and the ability He has given us to communicate with others despite language or cultural barriers. She believes that readers and writers are leaders, and the need for strong leaders equipped with a Christian worldview is more important now than ever. She is passionate about empowering the next generation to think critically and communicate effectively, and is excited to share this passion with her students.
Cassidy comes to us with a diverse background in coaching, teaching, missions, real estate, and most recently, a career in local city government. Cassidy and her husband also own their own construction company.
In her spare time, Cassidy loves to whittle down her TBR (To Be Read) list, travel, play volleyball and tennis, and explore North Idaho with her husband and their German Shorthaired Pointer.
