Today in Health Class students had the opportunity to help our local pregnancy center, the 7B Care Clinic. Mrs Patterson, Valor's office admin and the 7B Care Clinic's store manager, led the class in this service project. Students organized bins of baby clothes which entailed getting rid of ragged, stained or out-dated clothes and putting matching outfits together. The bins of clothing are backstock items for the clinic's store.
From the generous donations of folks in our community, the store provides clients to opportunity to "shop" maternity clothes, children's clothes 0-2T, shoes, toiletries, formula, blankets, toys, and more using points they have earned through mentoring with a coach and attending educational classes.
The students had a lot of fun serving and LOVED all the cute baby clothes!
