Wednesday, Sept 27, 7AM, students of the VCHS leadership club led peers, teachers, parents, and board members in a time of prayer. They prayed for local schools, teachers, students, businesses, churches, and the city as a whole. Opening the time to others, prayers were lifted up on behalf of our schools, city, and Nation.
The club just started as of last week and only had a few days to fully prep. It is not easy to put on an event on the fly, be at school at 6:50AM, and lead people in public prayer. I applaud their leadership, courage, and willingness to put their faith in action.
The students hope to grow this National, student-led, annual event to be something everyone in our area can look forward to and participate in! So, mark your calendars:
Sept 25, 2024!
